“The Mura project” is a video game where you as the protagonist live in an urban village. The village is situated in Japan and it’s completely rebuilt on an island. It was super interesting to work on because it had to exist in 2050. So you had to do a lot of research about your subject. We choose to make it about urban farming because of the rising environmental issues.
During this module, we had assigned roles. My role was the sound designer and I was the scrum master. I really enjoyed this because I wanted to learn more about group working and scrum. It was a great learning opportunity and it was really useful. I definitely want to do more with being a scrum master cause I found it super useful and interesting. For the sounds design part, it was also super useful. I’ve always had a passion for music and sound and I now learned how to work with that and create new sounds and make a story come to life. It was a truly awesome module and I would love to learn more about game design!
