During my internship at Scentronix, I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project in collaboration with Moooi, developing a personalized room fragrance tailored to an individual’s personality. The fragrance is crafted through a personality test that, in conjunction with AI, creates a unique scent for each person’s space. To make this process truly immersive, we set out to design a questionnaire that goes beyond the ordinary. Rather than a typical factual survey, we aimed to create an experience that engages the user’s emotions and imagination.

The result was a mood- and feeling-based questionnaire designed to shift your mindset. The questions are unexpected, poetic, and associative, offering users a refreshing break from conventional thinking, while seamlessly guiding them through the creation of their custom fragrance.

Throughout this project, I gained invaluable experience in UX design, graphic design, and the intricacies of working within a creative team. I learned how to navigate the full process—from initial concept to final product—while also developing skills in client collaboration and ensuring that our designs were clearly communicated to the programmers. This experience not only expanded my technical skills but also deepened my understanding of how to create a meaningful and user-centered product.
