Graduation project "We are recycling ourselves to death"
For my graduation project, I researched the recycling system of supermarket waste. Dit you know that a large portion of excess food is recycled into animal feed? This process, however, contributes to plastic entering our own food supply. Causing extreme consequences for animals, our health, and the environment.
Research Lab "Agriculture from the insect's perspective"
For half a year, I have worked on a new project regarding the safety of bees in agriculture. It was a fascinating project where I created a link between robotics and bee communication to help improve the bee population and agriculture aswell.
A project about how it would feel if we could experience being a tree. Focused on how deforestation affects the whole forest and how problematic it actually is for everything that lives there.
“All tied up” is one of the projects, I am most proud of. This interactive art installation is about mental disorders. It makes the invisible visible and it allows you to experience what it’s like to not have control over your own body.
For this project, we worked as a group on creating a transmedia experience about sustainability. We aimed to activate people on the subject of biodiversity.
This project perfectly reflects my passion and what I stand for: environment and nature. I deeply care about these subjects and want to show this in my art.
This is one of my group projects, for this module we had to make a game about a city in 2050. We made it about the environment and it showed people how you could live in an urban village.
