BiodiverCity

This group project, I did during my second year. The project was about sustainability and me and my group choose to focus on the most forgotten subject, biodiversity. During this process, we had to do research about our target audience. in our case this was 40+ people that lived in Breda and cared about the environment but didn’t do anything about biodiversity. With this, we wanted to change their behavior and make them active to join in and help. Because biodiversity is a really important part of the climate but it’s easily forgotten. that’s why we started to make a campaign where we would first acknowledge the people of the problem. Then we would activate them to join in and hope they now learned and start doing it by themselves. 

 

User activation

To make them aware we made posters, stickers, and rating signs. These were a use success and it lead them to our Instagram and Facebook. We also promoted a live event where we would plant flowers and spread seeds to make Breda colorful!

It was a really interesting project cause we had to think about the different ways of reaching the target audience. It also made us do more research on the target audience and taught me how you can inspire and activate people.
